ILVO is developing a new research infrastructure, the Feed Pilot. This is a facility where precision feeds will be produced, exclusively for research involving farm animals (pigs, poultry, and cattle). ILVO also produces feeds for external companies. In addition to producing feeds, ILVO plans to conduct technological research.
Flemish minister-president Matthias Diependaele laid the symbolic foundation stone for the Feed Pilot, new precision feed research infrastructure at ILVO, on June 3, 2025.
